OUR MISSION

" Let's bridge language barriers to be understandable to the world"

We are part of the ASEAN Economic Community (2015), offering a single regional common market and production base. We are a one-stop translation service for Myanmar / Burmese, other South East Asian languages, European, Latin, and other foreign languages. We take pride in the regional economic community’s integration of the 10 ASEAN member states of Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand. We help the citizens of these states meet their language needs so that they can take part in the flow of economic opportunities. It is our goal to support the growth and development of the ASEAN community.

Myanmar has been transforming into democratic transition since the USDP (Union Solidarity Development Party)-led government in 2015. In a wave of improving political reform, international eyes for investment in Myanmar are rapidly growing. Myanmar holds a strategic location within South East Asia with great market potential and populations numbering in the billions due to sharing borders with China, India, Laos, and Thailand. Foreign companies are seeking an emerging market for their products and frontier investment landscape. Myanmar’s economy has been continuously growing with foreign direct investment. The country’s potential is enhanced with a plethora of natural resources and labour force as well as new tourist destinations. The government continues to attract foreign investment with flexible and protective legal frameworks, tax exemptions and promises to create political stability and improved infrastructure.

With this in mind, Myan Trans takes the initiative in providing professional translation services by creating a dynamic language platform enabling global foreign investment firms to get in touch with the Myanmar people. Myan Trans Translation Company Limited offers a broad range of translation services, engaging numerous languages of South East Asia; incorporating, but not restricted to, Khmer, Burmese, Indonesian, Lao, Malay, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese and more. We’ve established our reputation over the years and enjoy wide support from our customers, both domestic and overseas. Our certified linguists will help you with translation and transcription services with 100% satisfaction assurance.

Our services enable customers to communicate efficiently with business partners and clients, thereby promoting their brand further by reaching a much wider spectrum. As a company of success within the language translation industry, we vow to help you bridge any and all language barriers.

The Burmese/Myanmar alphabet is made up of 32 consonants and 10 vowels. These are derived from the early scripts of Phavi from the South of India. Most of the formed words used in the Myanmar language are loaned from other languages. All of these were acquired from the many different conquerors and colonising parties that have occupied Myanmar. In the past, during the time Burma was used as an overland route between China and India, different words and languages were taught and passed on to the natives.

Can 52 million people discover and use 111 languages when speaking to each other? This is not a mere probability as this is what happened in Myanmar! Around 80% of the overall population in Myanmar speaks Burmese, the official Myanmar language. This percentage though, speaks in different pronunciations that vary from area to area. The Burmese language is a monosyllabic language. It is also tonal, similar to other Tiberto-Chinese languages.

Modern Burmese is the official language of Myanmar and is spoken by the majority of the Burmese population as either a native or second language. There are an estimated 52 million Burmese language speakers in the world today, most of them concentrated in the countries of Burma, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. English is the second language as prescribed in the school curriculum.
